Game Systems Designer

About the Role

We’re looking for a Game Systems Designer to help us take Rock Kommander to the next level. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building and fine-tuning core gameplay systems to ensure a fun, engaging experience. You’ll work closely with our development and design teams to shape gameplay features that meet both player expectations and project goals.

Your Future Responsibilities

  • Design new gameplay mechanics for a mobile RPG
  • Create and balance characters, skills, and abilities
  • Maintain detailed documentation on game balance and systems
  • Handling game balance
  • Collaborate with developers and QA to implement and test new mechanics
  • Help shape the game’s meta through smart, data-driven decisions

Requirements

  • 3+ years in Game Systems Design, preferably in free-to-play mobile
  • Hands-on experience with mobile RPG systems
  • Strong skills in data-centric and systems-focused design
  • Experience balancing complex game mechanics
  • Solid understanding of CRPG mechanics and gameplay elements
  • Ability to deconstruct components of existing CRPG titles
  • Proficient in English (B2 level or higher)
  • Advanced Excel (or similar tool) skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Based in CET time zone (+/- 1 hour)

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with Unity
  • Passion for heavy metal, rock, or punk music scenes
  • Familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD, or other UI/UX tools
